Combine Old World craftsmanship, the finest woods and materials, and eye-catching contemporary design and you have my company, TCB International. My name is Stefan Szell, and I come from a long line of artisans in Transylvania, a region that has traditionally produced exquisite carved and painted furniture and housewares that remain prized today by the likes of actress Helen Mirren. Today that tradition continues and is updated by top artists such as renowned restaurant/hotel designer Adam Tihany.
I immigrated to Canada to study physics. I founded TCB International to merge two great loves: Old World craftsmanship and eye-catching contemporary design.
Today, I use my woodworker’s eye to design custom layouts for the way you live and my hands craft unique renovations that will make your family and guests green with envy.
For more than 20 years, TCB International has built, remodeled and developed unique residential and commercial projects that showcase fine European craftsmanship and innovative design. TBC is headquartered in Bethesda, MD.
